Value Commitment

II believe counsellors and therapist have an ethical responsibly to assure we are not overcharging clients for mental health support.  Below I will detail the steps I take to offer quality without passing additional costs onto clients.

Working Independently

You may have seen advertising from larger cooperation's working as an in-between for clients and therapists. While there are advantages to this it often results in additional fees as therapists pay to be a part of this service which are ultimately passed onto the client in session costs.

Working independently I keep my service free from these additional costs. This does not mean I am any less professionally accountable as I adhere to the professional standard of a registering body the (BACP) british association of counselor and physiotherapists.

Offering Online Session Options

I have found that some clients value that face to face connection while others prefer the flexibility of working online. In many face to face counselling session as much as 20% of the session fees can go towards renting a suitable therapy room. As this isn't required for online sessions I will always offer these at a discounted rate so that clients are not being charged unnecessarily.
