What most people are referring to when they use the term counselling. This approach is non-judgmental, confidential, and client-led.
Ideal for cliants who want to get a better understanding of how we think, feel and act.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
CBT is a semi structured approach with a strong evidence base. In this approach, the therapist and client work together using scientifically evidenced methods to help bring about change.
CBT is shown to be effective treating depression and various anxiety disorders including phobias.
